Greater than one weekWorks great! Kitty loves it. Lots of settings and love how you can customize it for multiple cats.

> 3 dayi do like the fact that it is almost indestructible when it comes to an unruly cat who won’t stop messing with the feeder and knocking it over, however, it never tells me when it runs out of food or when it’s low like the older model, which i assumed it would. i’m kind of let down and if i don’t pay extra attention my cat may go without food. as a busy cat parent, this kind of defeats the purpose.

> 3 dayI love this feeding machine. Its great for traveling. I love that I can record a short message for every feeding. The only reason that I gave it 4/5 stars is that its not easy to set up. The buttons on the machine are not obvious. You really need to read the manual to understand how to program your feeding schedule. But once the program is set, its great.

29-03-2025**update The life on batteries are actually not an issue. The low battery warning light seems to have been a fluke/false alarm. I havent seen it in over a month or so. Also, now that Ive made it thru the rain and snow with this thing outside for its first winter(without its lost lid), it still works. So its pretty tough! It also survived a skunk/fox/bear ripping it open last winter(why it didnt have a lid), which slipped my mind in the last review. So I guess my only complaint is the wacky programing instructions. I never saw the instructions, so programming this is very difficult. The buttons make no sense on their own. It also drains the batteries WAY too fast. We don’t have constant power, so the battery feature is huge, but the device just isn’t efficient with them. A home made gravity-fed self feeder is better for people who can’t just “plug this in”. Other than that I think it’s great feeder.

Greater than one weekWe use the feeder to supplement our cats wet food diet, so we have it set on 1 portion, twice per day. The lowest portion is the perfect small amount and our cat seems to know when it goes off every day because hell wait next to it 30 minutes before. One minor issue is that the clock drifts a couple of minutes every few months requiring me to reset the clock. Other than that, its very reliable and I love that you can easily clean the stainless steel bowl.

> 3 dayI like the voice recording feature. The cat comes running as soon as he hears it. The replacement filters are a bit pricey for what they are, but if you don’t live in a humid area they really don’t need to be changed all that often. Portion size can vary, but this is not a high dollar machine. It does what I need and it’s simple.

> 3 dayIt was purchased to feed the cat while we were out of town for a while. Setting the timer and portion size was fairly easy...it did take a few tries to get the portion size dialed in. The cat used it while we were away but will not use now that we are home. It seems like his face/head has to get too close to the machine for him to feel comfortable. So even though the machine works just fine, I will be trying to find a new home for it as its too expensive to just sit in a closet or donate.

> 3 dayThe timers used on the devices are not accurate, so after a couple days all three were out of sync. This is annoying bc I have to readjust the times every couple of days so they get fed at the same time.

Greater than one weekFirst, it came used when I ordered a brand new one. Second, which could relate to it being used, it keeps giving and E1 message. Other than these two things it works (unless I have to clear the error message).

> 3 dayThis feeder was worth it. Im not a morning person especially at 4:30-5am. This allows for peace for both of us. Im happy with the feeder.
