My cat doesn’t do well in new or unfamiliar places, so when I’m leaving for a night or two, I can count on this to make sure she’s fed throughout the day. Also when I can’t make it out of bed for her early breakfast, the machine does it for me! The voice command for the meals stopped working after the first day, but really, my cat wasn’t a fan of it anyway, so I don’t care. It’s a good price and so far, it’s been reliable! Love it! Wish it had an indicator when food gets low, but you just have to be mindful.

Cat no longer constantly begs because the food comes from this machine and not me. Setup programming is confusing at first but I got over it. I dont use their bowl as I feel its too deep and causes whisker fatigue. The Cat Guru shallow bowl fits perfectly.

I bought 2 feeders for our cats. Theyve worked decently for the last few months. They both plug into an outlet and have a battery backup. We got these for when I gave birth so wed feel confident that the cats were getting fed while we were in the hospital. It was so nice to have that peace of mind. Weve continued using them because they really are great. Now I dont have to wake up early or rush home from work to make sure they get fed on time. As others have said, the setup is not the easiest and its very loud. Every step to the setup process is accompanied by a very loud beep (seriously, its quite loud. Not exaggerating). You cant just directly go to adjusting the portion size of meal # whatever; you have to flip past the clock and flip through any other meals youve programmed, so its a lot of very loud beeping to do anything. I also noticed that the digital clock runs fast. Over the past few months, it eventually goes faster than my phones clock by about 4 minutes. One of the feeders also has an issue where once a day, it plays the voice recording I set up, but doesnt immediately dispense food like it should. It waits about 20 seconds, which scares the bejeesus out of my cat, who was summoned by my recorded voice. Overall, these are pretty good feeders and the bowls are easy to clean. I like that the bowls are stainless steel and the feeders themselves are aesthetically pleasing. Would recommend.

Raccoons can’t open the top!

Once programmed it is great and takes one thing off of my daily chores. However, the slit that shows the food level is narrow and my feeder is in a dim corner so I dont always see the food level. Twice now in the few weeks that I owned it, my cats had to meow loudly to tell me they didnt get fed! If it is possible to design a low food indicator light, that would be great!

Its really pretty but I never used it because I cant figure it out. I had to buy a manual cat feeder. Waste of money but looks good

This thing is great for portioning my kitties food and when I am away for a few days, I’ve had it for a few months now with no issue. Portion size really depends on your kibble, a lot of people are complaining about their kibble not fitting so it’s best to make sure it fits before you buy! I personally use purina indoor cat chow or iams indoor cat chow and each portion is about 2 tablespoons.

Bought it to feed my cats when I am away from home, works very well! My cats love it! Happy with this automatic cat feeder, i like the option of 6 meals per day. Nice portion sizes. Right one for me

I can’t quite figure out the portion size. Sometimes when I press a certain size it will either come out with a lot or only a few pieces dispensed. Other than that it’s a great item. The voice recorder is a cute idea to gather my cats.

Finally, I can sleep in cuz my cat knows when she gets fed!! This little feeder is perfect! The portions, so far, are exactly as expected. P3 = 1/4 cup and thats what my cat gets 2 times daily until shes at her optimum weight. This saves me a lot of time. The setup was goofy, but I did get it figured out after watching an online video. The voice recording set up was very odd, but finally got that figured out too. I would highly recommend, however picking the proper vender if you dont want to wait 3 weeks to get it would be beneficial. If I had to order another one I would go direct to the MFG website.
