Update: *Company fully resolved the issues, providing stellar service. It was greatly appreciated and unexpected as they went above and beyond. Thank you! Cons: complicated & hard to program-set times, top lid hard to remove & get back to correct grove to seal tight, portion seem to differ, batterie usage doesn’t last long, plug in is inconvenient for location needed. Pros: provides food at set times, looks modern, voice call, good if unable to be home in time for feedings

Wonderful product and will make your life easier. Our cat hears in falling in the dish and comes running.... Helps you spread out the timed eating for cats who need to lose weight.

This feeder takes a long time to program. Theres no way to go back and review what youve set, and if you accidentally go too far in the settings process the only thing you can do is start all over again, including setting the main clock time. There isnt any back button. Setting AM or PM is tricky also - this has a 12 - hour clock, and if youre setting multiple feedings you have to watch that with every meal as you go. Weve discovered that we probably wont use this feeder while were in town, because we dont get up at the same time every day...

This works very well. It keeps my cats fed. I like that I can have it dispense portions throughout the day so my cats don’t attack me in the morning when they are hungry. It does not specify the portion size in the instructions and I had to do some googling to figure it out. That was my only complaint.

Love love love. This has been super reliable and I’ve been using it for months now. Just be aware, when the food gets low levels, it dishes out smaller portions. Not a big deal just fill it up before it’s totally empty.

So far, so good. Have been testing for a few days before were out of town and its working as expected. Its easy to program and the portions allows for pretty good control of how much food is dropped at a time. Only complaint is that the speaker is very quiet so the recording to alert the cat is barely audible. It will take some time to train the cat to the times rather than the speaker/noise.

Works great. Nice voice feature with battery backup

I love how everything disassembles easily for cleaning, the scheduling is easy to use but a bit clunky, the hopper seals pretty air tight from what I can tell so the food stays fresh longer, the ability to add an audio clip is great(I have a clip of Gordon Ramsey yelling about raw meat, the cats come running when they hear gordo), and the usb/battery power works flawlessy(excellent braided right angle USB-C cable included). The only thing I really dont like is the digital timer runs fast. Ive had it for about a month and the timer is already 2 minutes ahead of schedule. This could become a problem if your pet is on a very strict diet, youll have to reset the timer every few months or so. On a side note, it lets you set the portion size from 0 to 50. There is no reason to set any portion over 2 or 3 for a cat, maybe 5 or 6 for a dog. The bowl isnt big enough to hold 10 servings let alone 50. You could set this above a much larger bowl and set it to 50, but I feel like that will empty at least half of the hopper in one feeding, rendering the auto-feeder feature next to useless. I recommend it if youre looking for an auto-feeder for your pets.

fills the bowl about a week at 3 portion, every 6 hours which is sufficient for my two cats. only problem is the feeding shoot is a bit wider than the bowl and spills small amounts out side the edges of the bowl. it also piles all the food at the back of the bowl so then the cats complained about the front of the bowl being empty. Cats.. Does not sense when the hopper is empty, does have a clear slot you can see the level though. but will keep trying to feed on schedule even when empty. a beep when empty would be a nice additional feature

Really like this and so does my cat. Perfect portion sizes, she can have six meals a day and she’s still being fed the amount of food the vet recommended during the day. And she’s already moved on to its schedule for food instead of always begging me.
