I love this product. I don’t have to worry about my cat going hungry whenever I’m not home now!

Very easy to set up. You need to keep it half full or more to be able to accurately dispense the same amount every time which in the case of the dry food I use is 1/8 of a cup per serving so I set it for two servings at 3 times a day for a total of 3/4 cup per day. Along with one can of cat food its about 275 calories. When my cat was free feeding it was getting about 350 calories. The cat has already lost a pound and a half since I purchased. Works perfectly I even had a power interruption and the d batteries worked flawlessly. Very easy to clean. Very high quality Im impressed Im glad I decided to purchase this. The dry food stays very fresh in the sealed container. I never tried the microphone setup, dont need it cat can hear dry food hitting the stainless steel bowl and comes running for its meal.

    Greater than one week

i do like the fact that it is almost indestructible when it comes to an unruly cat who won’t stop messing with the feeder and knocking it over, however, it never tells me when it runs out of food or when it’s low like the older model, which i assumed it would. i’m kind of let down and if i don’t pay extra attention my cat may go without food. as a busy cat parent, this kind of defeats the purpose.

We have two cats, 10 year old brothers, and the little guy eats the most, but the big guy has a weight problem. The best way to reduce their eating was to do precise portion control and space out the meals at regular intervals to keep them happy. So instead of me having to track how much and and when they are fed, and how often, the PetLibro does it all also while were not home, or asleep. AND we can set it to feed in the middle of the night or in the early morning when they might typically make noise outside of our bedroom when hungry. Other pet feeders only do 4 daily portions, but this one does 6. So 6 one-portion meals per day adds up to 2/3 of a cup which is sufficient for two indoor cats. Perfect.

Update: Petlibro has shown great customer service and offered to replace the feeder. I will be updating to 3 stars for the customer service and if it lasts past 3 months this time will upgrade again. Very much enjoyed this for 3 months and then it broke and no longer let’s out food. It doesn’t even try to push. Really disappointed as it wasn’t a cheap item.

Scheduling feedings is trial and error. Go to YouTube for better instructions. My cat enjoys using it. And it definitely keeps the food more fresh vs. filling the bowl once in the morning. The feeder is sturdy, love the stainless steel bowl. fill the food container and it lasts 3-4 weeks, depending on how much your pet eats on a daily basis.

It works very well, people complain about the portion size and hard to program, really it takes 7 to 8 portions to fill the bowl.. Its really terrible how grown ups cant figure out how to use this, better give it to your 5 year old before they turn into another phone zombie like you so they can teach you how to program it..

took a while to figure out set up and settings, but going good now. recording sounds like my mouth is full of marbles and it scared the cats so i removed. the ring of the dish gets them running. saves some meows at me.

Our cat used to get so frustrated with us when we didn’t feed him the moment he woke up. He would bit our feet, meow and throw a fit. Now he is very gentle and overall happy in the mornings, knowing he’s always going to be fed around the same times in the day. I wish it had a feature to let me know when it was low on food, and was easier to clean, but I overall appreciate this product.

I bought 2 feeders for our cats. Theyve worked decently for the last few months. They both plug into an outlet and have a battery backup. We got these for when I gave birth so wed feel confident that the cats were getting fed while we were in the hospital. It was so nice to have that peace of mind. Weve continued using them because they really are great. Now I dont have to wake up early or rush home from work to make sure they get fed on time. As others have said, the setup is not the easiest and its very loud. Every step to the setup process is accompanied by a very loud beep (seriously, its quite loud. Not exaggerating). You cant just directly go to adjusting the portion size of meal # whatever; you have to flip past the clock and flip through any other meals youve programmed, so its a lot of very loud beeping to do anything. I also noticed that the digital clock runs fast. Over the past few months, it eventually goes faster than my phones clock by about 4 minutes. One of the feeders also has an issue where once a day, it plays the voice recording I set up, but doesnt immediately dispense food like it should. It waits about 20 seconds, which scares the bejeesus out of my cat, who was summoned by my recorded voice. Overall, these are pretty good feeders and the bowls are easy to clean. I like that the bowls are stainless steel and the feeders themselves are aesthetically pleasing. Would recommend.
