> 3 dayHave used this to feed my cat while gone for several days. You can control portions, timing and theres a battery back up. So far product works very well. Sometimes the bowl can become overfull and cause an error so getting portions right is important.

> 3 dayThis automatic pet feeder is working well for us. We were feeding our cat 1/2 cup of food every day as prescribed by our vet. We would give her 1/4 cup in the morning and 1/4 cup late afternoon but she would eat it all by early evening. We use the feeder to give her 6 feedings of 1/6 cup every 3 hours from 5 am to 8 pm. Occasionally she will eat all of her food ag the ned of the day but we just try to make her wait until the next feeding but sometimes will use the feature to give her an extra feeding. We replaced the metal bowl that was provided with our own bowl since the metal bowl was loud. We havent used the talking feature.

> 3 dayThis works pretty well. Portions are a consistent size. It even manages to hold onto settings through a power disruption, which is nice.

03-04-2025With a newborn baby, I just needed my cats to stop pestering me about feeding time. This helped significantly. Its been about 6 weeks and the feeder keeps good time. I havent messed with the voice recording option.

> 3 dayWe bought this because our cats are insane when they’re hungry. We were hoping this would be a slam dunk but for three days in a row, our cats have figured out how to open the storage space by tipping it over. I’ve even put it against the wall and our cat still finds a way to move it and tip it. Unfortunately the storage container comes apart easily as you can see.

> 3 dayOur pup is a grazer. She’ll take a couple of bites here and there throughout the day, but rarely finishes an entire bowl at a single time. This is ideal, because it makes sure there is always some kibble in her bowl. Since we’ve had it, she’s only had to tell me once that she wanted more, and it was easily taken care of. In fact, it’s more often that there is too much food in her bowl and I have to empty it out before more can be easily be dispensed! I don’t know why the reviewer complained about the noise of the kibble falling into the metal dish. It’s not loud and happens for a fraction of a second. The dispenser itself makes more noise! The only problems I had was I had to change her feeding corner to accommodate for an outlet to plug the device in and a little confusion with the programming.

> 3 dayWe have two cats, 10 year old brothers, and the little guy eats the most, but the big guy has a weight problem. The best way to reduce their eating was to do precise portion control and space out the meals at regular intervals to keep them happy. So instead of me having to track how much and and when they are fed, and how often, the PetLibro does it all also while were not home, or asleep. AND we can set it to feed in the middle of the night or in the early morning when they might typically make noise outside of our bedroom when hungry. Other pet feeders only do 4 daily portions, but this one does 6. So 6 one-portion meals per day adds up to 2/3 of a cup which is sufficient for two indoor cats. Perfect.

> 3 dayWe have had a difficult time programming it.

> 3 dayPortion control and feeding is great. The only downside is the volume. I can’t hear my voice at all. I’m not sure if I got a defective one or if the sound is just super soft which in case wouldn’t do any justice if myself or our cat can’t hear me talk. I tried pressing the volume button and it really is just super soft.

Greater than one weekGreat concept and we continue to use. A bit cumbersome to program. If it were one-and-done, that would be okay. But the clock gains five minutes every week or so, and when you reset the clock, you have to reprogram all the feedings. Ugh. While you can double or triple the portion size, you can’t reduce it, so if you want kitty to have a “light snack” sometime, you’re out of luck. But overall, we’re glad to have the scheduled feedings and trust they happen while we’re gone.
