It really disgusts me how poorly made many of todays products are. I like to buy something for life. I prefer to spend more to get something that I wont have to replace in a few years time. Heck, I still drive a 17 year old car I bought new in 1997--it doesnt look so great anymore, but it gets me around, its cheap to own and maintain, and hasnt left me stranded! The Bissell carpet cleaners are a good example of this. In the late 90s, I had purchased one of the Bissell carpet cleaners. While I was using it maybe once per year, there was a span of a few years where I didnt use it at all. So it is not like I used it that often. Over the years, one by one, something else would break on it. Or it would leak. Or the bearings would start wailing like a banshee (which screams cheap imported bearings to me). The last straw was earlier this year when the container of detergent kept coming out steadily, and was completely drained after running the cleaner for 10 minutes. I was not alone either--I know a few friends/family personally who bought a similar machine and they, too, had it only last them a few years. Fed up with Bissell, I looked at the others. Yet here on Amazon, just about all of the cleaners (Hoover, Bissell, etc.) has similar reviews--cheap plastic, leaks, early failures, just total junk. Yet this Bissell 86T3 stood out as having a five-star rating, with hundreds of votes. The more I read, the more I realized that I needed to give this machine a try. I was going to rent one from Lowes, but a Warehouse Deal came along that made it irresistible. It showed up yesterday, courtesy of FedEx. In the evening, I tried it on a high-traffic area in the family room, which has an off-white low-pile carpeting. It still has a couple of streaks, but man, is it ever bright! I havent seen it this clean since I moved into this house four years ago. The old Bissell lightened it a bit, but this one totally took control and sucked up a lot of dirt. (One area is a run between the kitchen and back door, and the other is the area around my work desk.) I may go over a few spots again now that I am more used to the machine. Today I tackled a bedroom (including a mattress) and the living room. And again, it pulled up muck that poured out of the waste container in a dark grey color. And yes, its like the other reviews have said: the carpet does not take long at all to dry. This 86T3 has serious suction! (The other Bissell couldnt suck up a dead gnat.) Moving furniture around, I was able to use a large fan to dry off the carpet in about a half hour. The carpet isnt exactly new looking, but it looks way better now. It always amazes me how much gunk hides in our carpets! Construction--the plastic is thick and heavy, in the main body and in the tanks. Fully loaded, its a bear to lift. But like others say, cart it around or lift it without the tanks to make things easier. It is also a bit difficult to steer but you get used to moving it in longer strokes to make up for it. I tried the hand tool in the bedroom to get in some tight corners, and the hose is long and sturdy, with no worries about kinking it like the cheaper Bissell cleaners. I likely would not have paid full price for this, but even if I had to pay more than the Warehouse Deals price, at least I am more confident that this cleaner will last me a while.

Firstly, I have to say that I am -was- a huge fan of the Rug Doctor. Weve rented the Rug Doctor many times over the course of a few years after out carpet cleaning machine died. We did like the Rug Doctor, but when you add up the costs associated with it, $25-30 base rental + $7 for the hose, as well as the cost associated with running to the store to get it and return it, let alone the hazards associated with the last people who rented it and didnt clean it when they were done (pet hair EVERYWHERE). Either way, we certainly thought the Rug Doctor was good until we purchased this Bissell. As others have mentioned, it picks up to much more water and leaves your carpets much drier right after going over them. Its been about a year since we rented the Rug Doctor. We went over the carpets in one direction and just for kicks we went over it in the other direction (vertical and horizontal). We got so much more dirt out of our carpets than we would have ever gotten with the Rug Doctor! It was just as much gross as it was amazing! This Bissell Big Green is very easy to use and comes with everything you need to get going, including 2 small bottles of solution and a sizable hose for spot cleaning. I would HIGHLY suggest you purchase additional solution (I used the Bissell Deep Clean-dark blue bottle) if you have more than 1-2 rooms to do that have really dirty carpet. I did three moderately sized rooms and had to refill 5 times. This may seem like a lot, but I went over everything twice or even three times in high traffic areas. Even with the extra passes, the carpets were dry very quickly. After the carpet completely dried, the carpets look amazing! Before they were starting to look different colors across the carpets, and now they look uniform again. The carpets are soft, correctly colored, and vibrant. There even is a nice sheen to the carpet. I do think it pullet the carpet back up where it was more pushed down from excessive traffic because it looks better than it has in years! I do have two of my three rooms on a second story and had to move the carpet cleaner up the stairs. The machine is heavy! I took off the dirty and clean water tanks so you basically only have the machine itself and it was a slight bit heavy to haul up the stairs. I dont know if it would be doable for everyone without assistance. For the three rooms, it took 5 refills of water/solution and about three hours. Make sure you do read the directions! I was not holding the dispense button enough, which did cause for a little extra time because I redid that area. You are supposed to move forward holding the button and then move backward over the same area still holding the button in a slow manner to allow the spinning brush to do its job. Then release the button and go forward and backward to get the excess water sucked up. Reading the directions first will surely help cut down your time. Overall, if you are on the fence about purchasing this machine, just do it! I thought about it for a few hours and ended up just purchasing it. When you consider how much it costs over time to rent a not so great machine (now that I see how much better you can get with this machine) and time time and effort required to go get it and take it back, as well as the convenience of having your own machine if you need a quick cleanup, its totally worth the cost. I would HIGHLY recommend this carpet cleaner, it really DEEP DEEP cleans! Fair warning: I have only had this machine for about a week and used it once. I was just so amazed that I couldnt wait to write a review. If I do run into anything, I will be sure to update this review.

I would have given this a five star review had it not been for the lame directions. With the exception of one wall to wall carpet in my bedroom, the rest of my rugs are rooms sized rugs and I have two dogs - one of which is old and has become incontinent. I have previously rented a rug shampooer from Lowes and after I buy the cleaner it usually costs over $80. After you pay to rent the machine, you still have the hassle of loading in your truck and then have to get it back on time not to mention you dont know what kind of filth it has been used on prior to you using it. As it turns out, the Big Green Machine is the exact same machine I have been renting. At the cost of $400 it more than pays for itself after four uses. Plus, I dont have to spot clean accidents and cringe between rentals thinking about the residual germs and dirt I wasnt able to get up. It really does do a fantastic job. I cannot stress the importance of vacuuming your rug immediately before you use it. I vacuumed my living room rug right before I used it but the bedroom rug had been vacuumed a couple of days earlier so I tried to cut corners and it was a mistake. The hair I couldnt see would collect into nasty wet globs and interfere with the suction of the machine. Even the rug I had vacuumed immediately before shampooing still had hair on it the shampooer pulled up but didnt interfere with its operation. It just goes to show how powerful the cleaning is. But as to the directions.... Since I had used the same machine several times before I was already familiar with the basics. The manual that came with the machine was limited (10 pages) in information. You would think for $400 you would get a little more detailed info. Just about everything I have ever brought will give you bold instructions on what you need to do before you use it the first time. This did but it was only safety instructions to keep from getting electrocuted or injured. The box said it included three trial size bottles of cleaner but I couldnt find them. Instead there was a random piece of packing cardboard in a plastic bag (picture attached) by itself so I assumed it was a factory mistake and that the bottles of cleaner were supposed to have been in that bag. I followed the directions in order and filled the tank with water and cleaning solution, put it on the machine and then put on the dirty water tank as it said on page 4. Page 5 told how to clean your carpet and gave tips. The first tip was to remove the cardboard cutout from the foot. I looked down and saw a little piece of cardboard sticking out from the foot area and pulled it and it came off. My thought process was it must be a small piece of cardboard since it wasnt mentioned in the directions until after it tells you how to fill the tank and put it together to start using and it, plus you cant turn the machine on its side after you fill the tank and, again, it was only mentioned as a TIP. So, after removing the cardboard I started cleaning my rug but after a while I looked at the dirty water tank and the amount of water in the tank didnt seem appropriate to the amount of solution I was applying. I continued to go over and over the rug trying to suck up water and after a good while stopped and looked up troubleshooting. It said check the rollers so I removed the tanks and turned the unit on it side and there was my problem - a LARGE piece of cardboard that stretched from one end of the base of the machine to the other. I would hardly call getting that thing out of there a TIP - It should have been clearly stated as BEFORE USING OR FILLING THE TANK BE SURE TO REMOVE THE BIG A*# PIECE OF CARDBOARD FROM THE FOOT OF THE MACHINE. But at least I had found out the problem and was now able to suck up dirty water. The dirty water tank filled and now it was time to go outside and empty the dirty water. Imagine my amazement - and embarrassment (neighbors were walking by) - when I poured out the water and out came the three bottles of cleaner AND a huge piece of cardboard. I definitely looked like the proverbial dumb blonde. It wasnt until later when I looked at the Whats in the box section that I saw the very last thing mentioned was the cleaner was in the dirty water tank. Who would have thought?! I had made the mistake of looking at the outside of the box to see what was in it and never bothered to look at that part of the manual. Plus, the manual showed pictures of what was inside the box and since I glanced over the pictures, I didnt think I needed to read a description of the very last thing mentioned which was the three bottles of cleaner. My advice to Bissell would to please change your manual and include: BEFORE YOU USE FOR THE FIRST TIME! 1. Turn the unit on its side and remove the large piece of cardboard from the foot of the machine. 2. Open the dirty water tank and remove the three small trial size bottles of cleaner and the large piece of cardboard from the tank. Like I said earlier, the machine works great but I could have been saved a lot of time and aggravation had those two small but important steps been included prominently as BEFORE YOU START items in the manual. But the machine does work great!

I should start this review by saying that my carpet is original to my house, which is 26 years old. I have had the carpets professionally cleaned and I have done them myself many times. I have owned several carpet cleaners in the past and really hesitated spending this much money for another. I have to say it is worth every penny! Seriously, it got out things I thought would never come out. My son had spilled Dr. Pepper behind a metal file cabinet in his bedroom, and of course didnt bother to mention it to me. It had set in for about six month by the time I found it, and the file cabinet had rusted on the soda. Not cool! So while I held out little hope, I pre-treated the stain with the cleaner that came with the machine (mixed with water) in a spray bottle. I let it sit around 10 minutes while I did other parts of the carpet. When I went over that area, almost all the stain came up, including the rust. I did go back and use the pre-treat again several times and each time more of the stain came up. There is a very faint rust stain that did not come out but you really have to be looking for it to see it. I found this machine to actually be more quiet than others I have used, which is not to say it isnt loud, because it is. But compared to other machines, even my husband commented that it was not as loud as the last one we owned. It cleans way, way better than other models I have tried and I didnt spend half my time running to the sink to empty and refill the tanks. I was blown away by the amount of water/solution that was sucked out of the carpet. Most other machines, even the professionals, leave the carpet so wet. Last time I had my Berber carpets cleaned it took 4 days to dry! With this machine it was mostly dried in 3 hours. I did have one spot that took till the next morning, but it was the area I went over several times. It was easy to operate and cleans on both forward and backward stroke. I also used this on my sofa, chairs, and an area rug with similar results. The hose is long enough to clean up the stairs, and the electric cord is long enough to not have to move it, at least in my house, very often. The Cons- It is heavy, which I guess is why it works so well but if you have stairs, you will probably have to carry it up in pieces like I did (machine, tanks separately). It did drip a little when I was carrying it to be emptied, which I hate, but every other machine I have owned has done the same...........Grrrrrrr! I dont like the water flow indicator. This little disk spins on the tank to show you the water flow. If you arent paying attention (I get into the zone when I clean and did this several times), you will be moving the machine around but no water/solution is being released. The way the tanks fit together make it a little difficult to tell when they are locked together. I was releasing solution into the carpet and nothing was coming back up. Had to turn the machine off, take the tank off and put it back on and fiddle with it to Lock it down. All of that said, I will and already have recommended this machine very very highly. Its really all about the clean!! The cons I listed are all small things that are more bothersome than real problems. I am please with my purchase and love that my carpet looks almost new again. Good for another 26 years??

This was my first carpet and upholstery cleaner purchase. We have mostly tile flooring in our home with carpet in the bedrooms, so I never considered getting a carpet cleaner when we moved in. However, when I started dog sitting for people, I had to reconsider my decision. My home smelled like dogs no matter how often I cleaned and I was tired of it, so I began my search for a good quality carpet/upholstery cleaner. I almost purchase a Hoover steamvac but I was really concerned about the durability of that product. I honestly didnt think it would last very long with frequent use. When I read all the amazing reviews for the BISSELL Big Green I contemplated it for a while before actually making the purchase. I really didnt want to spend so much money but it looked incredibly durable and I wanted something that would last for a good while and work as advertised. Let me say, this product did not disappoint! Ive used big green for a large area rug in my living room, my couches, the carpet in my bedroom, and the upholstery and carpeting in my husbands car. Every time, I was amazed with how much water, dirt and sediment the big green pulled up. What it did for my husbands car (with the hand tool) was especially impressive. We are taking an 8hr road trip with our son and I didnt want to be confined to a filthy car for such a long period of time, so I took it upon myself to give it a deep clean. We have owned this car for 2yrs and have never had it cleaned other than removing the trash and vacuuming it out. The people that owned it before us didnt bother getting cleaned before selling it, so when we purchased it there was also some staining and tons of dog fur. Now most of the dog fur had been long gone before I used the big green, so please keep that in mind. I cleaned all of the seats, top to bottom and then made my way to the carpeting, cleaning underneath the seats to the best of my ability. I probably went over the seats about 3 times before deciding that I was finished for the day. Now, when I went to dump out the water, it was black and there was lots of mud/dirt and rocks at the bottom of the dirty water container. There were even some small clumps of dog fur floating around in there. The interior of the car doesnt look brand new by any means (I will probably need to get a professional detailing service for that) but I am no longer disgusted at the thought of a long road trip in it. It actually smells pretty clean now and looks presentable. So, here are some things I love about the big green: It is an incredibly simple machine. Without the hose attachment, there are only 5 parts including the portion containing the motor. There are two bins, one for dirty water and one for clean, a clear dome shaped lid with a handle to cover the dirty water container, a small plastic, square filter type thing that you dont really need to bother with and then of course, the body, which contains the motor and scrub brushes at the bottom. Literally, all you need to do is add your water and cleaner, stack the bins on top of the body, plug in and turn on and you are ready to clean your carpets. The hose/hand tool attachment is also very easy to use and adds two extra parts. Not too many things to get broken here. The plastic is also very durable (as Ive mentioned before) and seems like itll last for several years. The suction is very strong and easily pulls up embedded dirt and small rocks from your carpet. Even while using the hose and hand tool, it didnt seem like any of the suction was lost. And of course, b/c of the great suction, dry time is minimal. Id say a couple of hrs for carpeting and upholstery, although when I used this to clean my couches, I gave them until overnight before I sat on them. It took the car about 4hrs to dry completely. Regardless of how long the dry time is, this isnt going to leave anything soaking wet. It will be only slightly damp once the water is sucked up. There are a few small things I didnt like about the machine. It is very difficult to maneuver (which was expected). When cleaning carpets, it does tend to spit out clumps of all the stuff it just sucked up. You know its working when you see these gross clumps but they are still annoying to pick up, unless you have someone going behind you to do it. I wish the hand tool had spinning bristles, although Ive heard that you can purchase one for a reasonable price. The last thing I didnt like was that this seemed to be a little too aggressive for my large living room area rug. Its a wool rug and it just seems like there are a lot of extra fibers getting sucked up by the machine, although the spinning bristles fluff my rug back up nicely. I may need to switch to using the hand tool on the rug though, in order to help prolong the life of it. All in all, this is a great product and well worth the money that was spent on it. It is expensive but I do believe that, in most cases, you get what you pay for. You wont regret buying this carpet/upholstery cleaner!

This review is for the Bissell Big Green. My carpets are old and very light in color. I live with three dogs. One of them is a senior and her bladder isn’t what it used to be. I’m not disciplined enough to wipe their paws before coming back inside, so my carpets take a bit of a beating in tracking in dirt and grime. This is the first “high end” carpet cleaner I’ve owned, but in my garage is a grave yard of floor cleaners that didn’t work too well. This machine exceeded my expectations. After purchasing MANY carpet cleaners (everywhere between the $130 to $250 range), the Big Green did its job quite well. THE PICTURES TELL IT ALL: 1 - See the picture with the white dresser to left. You can clearly see the difference in the carpet between the cleaned area (in front of the dresser) and the uncleaned area (toward the front of the picture). 2 - A few weeks prior to getting the Big Green, I cleaned my upstairs carpets with a Hoover Spin Scrub PressurePro Max Extract 60. In the photo with the loft rails in the background, you can see a line down the middle after cleaning half with the Big Green (left side uncleaned, right side cleaned). 3 – The four remaining photos consist of two sets of before and after pictures of old pet stains. The pet stains were several years old with multiple attempts to remove with a variety of cleaners over the years. The results were AWESOME! OTHER ODDS AND ENDS: 1. The buckets are clearly marked as to how to put them back in the machine. You can’t do it wrong (if it were possible, I would have done it) 2. The machine did well on my carved area rug. It’s a good, heavy rug – not sure I would use it on a light rug 3. No leaking!! Even when tipping it to remove debris from the brush roll (this is a problem I’ve had with almost every other cleaner I’ve owned) 4. Suctions up the water nicely for quick drying. My area rug seemed to hold moisture more than my wall to wall carpet and took longer to dry, but the pad under the rug was dry. 5. The cap on the clean water tank serves as a measuring cup for the shampoo, which is very convenient. 6. 5 year warranty 7. Easy to pull out the brush roll and clean behind it 8. Easy to empty dirty water tank and clean it (other carpet cleaners have a hole to dump the water through so it’s difficult to rinse out the tank and remove all of the sediment that accumulates) 9. The tanks are a milky color – I would prefer they be more transparent so that you can see where the water levels are and see the dirty water being suctioned up. 10. The machine is a bit clunky to maneuver to do another pass, but with practice it gets easier. Likewise, it’s awkward to get smaller areas. 11. One of the biggest points in negative reviews was water gushing out of the flow indicator and the location of authorized Bissell repair facilities. Before purchasing this machine, I located an authorized Bissell repair facility from the Bissell website and called the facility to ensure they were still in business and are still authorized to perform warranty services. I’m bringing this up because it is a large purchase and the machine is way too big and bulky to send it somewhere for repair. I’m not sure if the flow indicator is covered under the warranty, but replacing it is relatively inexpensive and I’m confident I have somewhere close to repair it. There are also UTUBE videos on how to replace it. In summary, I WAS AMAZED at what this machine picked up and am 100% satisfied with the purchase. If I encounter issues upon future uses, I will update this review. P.S. If you found this review helpful, please indicate. THANKS!

I dont know why i was wasting so much $ letting carpet wash man do the job and they wouldnt do it aa good as me. If you think you use it more than 3 times a year it pays for itself in 1st year , just get you a good shampoo reagent ( i got zepp) and mix it with water and spray that on stain, brush it manually and use the same shampoo for big green and you will be surprised how clean it comes out, i have used it 2times and if i wanted to pay someone to wash the way i washed they would easily charge me 250 if not 300, So it has already paid for itself.

We finally bought the Big Green Machine after renting the PetSmart version several times. All in all, this is a nice, easy to use carpet cleaner and I recommend it. More Detail: Unboxing: The cleaner is practically assembled when it arrives in its sturdy box. If you have trouble lifting heavy objects, it might be best to cut the bottom off the box and lift the box off, rather than trying to lift the machine out of the box. The accessory hose is in the box in the space between the cleaner and the box. Packed inside the waste bin is a sample of soap that you must remove. There are also a couple of other pieces of shipping material that need to be removed. I also found that the drain plug for the clean water reservoir was loose, so I tightened that up. The unit arrived in great shape with no visible damage to the packaging or the unit itself. This is basically the same unit as the commercial version, from what I can tell. I cant speak to the motors themselves, but it sounds the same as the rental version. The only things different are that the directions for use are not stamped directly on the machine, and there is no rental motor counter, which records the number of hours on the machine. Otherwise, quality, fit, and finish is almost identical to what Ive seen from the PetSmart rentals. Setup for use: Setup is fairly straight forward and easy. The bottom reservoir is for warm water and the cleaning solution. The cap is large and easy to put on and remove. That unit nestles down in the bottom, with a nozzle that allows the liquid to be drawn out for spraying. On top of that goes the dirty water receptacle, followed by the clear lid, which locks in place. You can see the dirty water as it is sucked up via the clear lid. The cord is heavy duty and long enough for all the uses I have. The only thing it cant do is reach from one end of our upstair hallway to the other, but it runs the full length of the house, so it is a long hallway! Use and Cleaning: The unit is relatively easy to move around. The large rear wheels make it an easy roll from place to place when you tip it back onto the wheels. The low center of gravity from the handles connection point at the bottom of the unit keeps it steady and even as you push and pull it across the carpet. It is a bit heavy to pick up via deadlift, but my relatively small wife can pick it up if she does it carefully. Shes not going far with it, mind you, but she was able to load and unload it from our SUV when we rented these. It has a nice grab handle on the front and the rear. The cleaner does a good job of getting the carpets clean and removing most of the moisture from the carpet. Our drying times have been relatively quick, which is good. You really dont want soggy carpets. I am giving four stars, however, because our particular unit seems not to spray well on the forward motion, or at least not as consistently as the rental versions did. It is spraying the cleaning solution, but one pass does not seem to wet the carpet enough. I found myself doing a pass up and back with the trigger depressed, and then two additional passes to remove the liquid. Drying time was still good. But, because it doesnt seem as effective with one pass only, Im holding a star back. It may be something that will improve with us, or it may just be this unit. It still cleans well. This unit needs a little help with heavy stains, as you would expect. We pretreat spots with Resolve carpet cleaner and a little light scrubbing. Then, going over the spots with Big Green it does a great job removing the stains. I make extra passes over high traffic areas or tough stains and it does make a huge difference. Ive mostly used the carpet cleaning system that came with my Kirby in recent years, but this is a superior clean than that one. Depending on the pile of your carpet and the amount of pet hair in your home, you will notice clumps of fibers/hair under the unit and in the waste area. At times clumps will become large enough that they will fall off the machine during use. Its not a big problem, and not unique to this cleaner. If you have a carpet or pets that shed, you can stop and clean it off periodically during use. Cleanup: As with all cleaners, cleaning the unit is essential to its performance. This one is easy to clean. The dirty water receptacle has a large opening and is easy to dump (I dump into the toilet) and rinse The clear lid takes a little work at the sink to get al the crevices cleaned out. Any leftover cleaning solution can be drained easily by unscrewing the plug on the bottom. Wipe down the outside and bottom of the unit, being sure to get clumps of carpet fiber and hair from the roller area, and youre all done. The handle folds down to save space vertically, should you need it. Complaints: As to complaints about drips; yes, when you stop cleaning and park the unit, there will be some dirty water spots I dont think its a leak, per se, but rather the liquid that get caught up in the roller assembly when everything is spinning and working. When it stops it drips. I keep an old towel handy and back the machine up onto the towel when I stop using it - problem solved. Overall: We purchased this for ourself because we had been so pleased with the rentals. It does a good job cleaning our carpets and controlling the odors from three dogs who sometimes have accidents. It really does leave the carpets cleaner and reduces odors, and were very pleased. Had I not had a slightly different experience with the rentals units, I might have rated it 5 stars. After a few more uses I will update my review as needed.

Well, we have cats, and cats as everyone knows, as well has other pets, do have accidents. Hair balls throwing up etc. Now humans are different our accidents involve spilled food, drinks, mud dragged thru the house on shoes etc. So we need a good machine that will do the job of cleaning carpets and removing stains. Did I mention cleaning upholstery? In the past we rented machines from different companies, 40/50 dollars a day +plus travel to and from rental. So figuring in travel time, cost of rental and needing a machine when ever a accident happens.. Well you can see a Rug scrubber fits the bill. So why Bissell and not rug doctor? Weve rented rug doctor in the past and wasnt impressed by it. We also rented Big green That we were impressed with the way it cleans and ease of operation. Vacuum to suck up water works great, Has a indicator to inform you when solution is gone, rug doctor..not so much, Big Green also has a hose attachment to use on you upholstery and use it on car seats and hard to rach carpeting spots. Works great all a round. Handle folds up when not in use, power cord is long. Draw backs? The machine is a little bulky and heavy. Other than that... no other draw backs. Big question would I buy again after using the machine .Yes I would. Did I look at other machines other than Rug Doctor And Bissell? Yes I did. Kept coming back to Big Green and bought that Best decision I made on a carpet cleaner

First, I am an engineer .... which means I analyze everything. I was concerned about the hand tool portion of this product, but I neednt be. It worked very well. This product not only gets the carpet deep clean, it sucks out nearly all the moisture from the carpet and allows it to dry in no time. Seriously, by the time I got to the other end of my living room, the side I started on was already dry. The tanks (clean and dirty) are super easy to use. I prefer to fill and empty in my laundry room wash tub and these both work great in there. The unit has a little spin indicator when you are applying solution. This is great since you always know the moment you are out. The cord wrapping mechanism is the best I have ever seen in a product. Super easy and fast. Yes, it is more expensive than the typical cheap model, but it is worth it in spades. Additionally, the materials this thing are made out of are super durable. It is built like a tank and I expect many years of use. It is a bit heavy compared to the consumer models, but it is oh so much better at getting the job done. It is worth the little extra space it takes up in the closet and the fact that I have to move it up and down stairs for my wife to use on different floors (it is a bit much for her). At the end of the day, I am a consumer where the most important thing for me is does it work well and last a long time. Everything else is secondary.
