> 3 dayI would love to give this printer 5 stars but unfortunately I cant. The only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is the fact that the software is closed source. For enthusiast, this really sucks. However, the printer itself is still great and the support team from Qidi is amazing. I have never had a better customer experience when asking for help when it comes to failed prints, trouble shooting, and general questions. This is my second Qidi printer and I will be happy to buy another one in the future.

> 3 dayThe X-Plus works great! As a beginner I had no idea what I was doing but I love to tinker so putting it together was a blast. Easy to follow step by step directions with pictures on a usb stick that comes with the machine. The stick carries the software needed to print to it. I messed up my build plate (rookie mistake) and asked about buying a new one. The responsiveness is quick and I received my part in a couple of weeks. This printer is easy to use right out of the box and came with a spool of filament.

> 3 dayLike this product. I am newbie in 3d printing. Never done this before. It took me 20 min to assemble and start print first demo. Same day, I was able to print my 3d model form fusion 360. Recommend it!

> 3 dayI bought this printer several weeks ago and I can tell you it is one of the best printers I ever purchased for less than $1000. I purchase another printer prior to buying this at $1400 but it was incapable of doing prints to the same high quality as this one. The ease of use for the qidi makes this printer exceptional. Has a very nice finish on it. The print bed is nice and big and most of all the customer support is very responsive. Im gonna recommend this printer to any one starting out or for the more advanced user!!

> 3 dayI absolutely love QIDI Printers. I have worked in several school districts in the past 6 years and I always have them buy at least 2 of these 3D Printers and I have zero regrets. Right out of the box these things print great and if I have any questions, customer support will usually get back to me within a day (it would be quicker if I we were in the same time zone). I would recommend these printers to anyone that wants to get a reasonable 3D Printer that requires little setup to get going.

> 3 day3 month review. This is a great printer right out of the box. I am very impressed with the quality of prints it produces. I have a background in engineering and design, so Ive been fascinated with this concept since its inception. Ive waited patiently for an affordable printer that produces quality prints and I have no regrets with the QIDI X-Plus! Ive had some bumps along the road, but thats to be expected with any printer. I had to reach out to tech support and they responded back in a reasonable amount if time with a solution. Leveling the bed can be a little tricky, but once you get it dialed in, itll run great for a while. Its a 3 point adjustment system, which means that any adjustment you make to one point will inadvertently affect the other two. (I wish there was an option in the Tools Menu to allow users to repeat a point if you need to go back) The machine will still print, but Id like it to be as close to perfect as possible. What I found, that has nothing to do with the printer, is that filament temperature can vary and its all over the place. I have a hatchbox blue pla that prints at 186 and then I have a hatchbox gray pla that prints at 195. I have a white atomic pla that prints at 192 and a translucent green atomic pla that prints at 215 (Owl). The magnetic build plate sticker is fantastic! Great adhesion and with a few bends you can pop your prints right off. Its pretty quiet too...I can have this machine printing and watch tv in the same room without issue. Ive ran it overnight, in another room, multiple times without it waking me up. The slicer software is very basic, but it works fine. (Simplify 3D software cut printing times in about half for me, but it was pricey) Just to give you an example of print times, Baby Yoda took about 7 hours (20% Infill, cause its a toy). The Ram mount bracket took 8 hours per piece (100% infill, cause its a functional part that I use in my boat). Coffee tablespoon took about 1 hour. Overall its just a great printer and im very happy with it. *I may edit this review to add some specs since it was not immediately clear to me what size nozzle I needed for replacement.

> 3 dayThis is my first 3D printer and am very pleased with my choice. The packaging was spot on, instructions for setting it up were easy to follow, I was up and running in a very short time. The only issues I have encountered were self-inflicted, Linda at QD3 has been awesome to work with she responds promptly and has been on target with suggested resolutions. I am considering buying a second printer and would very likely go with another QIDI product.

> 3 daySo I have had only one other printer. An ANYCUBIC Mega S. It was great for 3 months then Quit printing whole pieces. It was a known issue with ways to fix it, but I just dont have the time. So I researched and bought this product. SO far it has been an absolute gem. Some issues with Printing PETG+, but though tech support I was able to find settings that work great. Support has been great, they have upgrade parts, and replacement that you can get within the week. They respond well to email. I have been working on a bunch of long prints with no issues. It really has been a great. PLA prints flawlessly. I have not tried the .05mm printing, but its something I look to do, here in the future. would be great if we could get a .2 nozzle on the system, so we could print miniatures. But other than that its great! Will update if something changes.
