> 3 day[Update on 9/18/2021] I have the 3D printer for 1.5 years. I used it to print more than 100 face shield (for donation) during the early of the pandemic in 2020, and several of my projects. I used both PETG and PLA filament. The printer still works great. ------------------------------------------------- This is my very first 3D printer. Im still learning how to use it. I use it to print a container and a few bags holders. Works well so far. The only issue I got was about the leveling. There was once I had to cancel the printing, because of a loud nose coming from the printer. After I redo the leveling, the problem disappeared. Dont know what was the cause.

> 3 day2018-2023 Update: I have had 9 Printers from QIDI Tech, since 2018: 3 - X-MAXs, 3 - X-PLUSs, & 3 - X-PROs. In 2018 we purchased one of each, for about half a year, after 100+ hours of printing and amazing results on these printers, I had to get more, so I did in 2019, we added two of each and had them running for various project since. Over the last 4-5 years we have used, and continue to use, these printers, with no major problems. I run a $1,000,000+ Additive Manufacturing Center at a Universitys Mechanical Engineering Department, in which we manufacture and print a variety of research parts, projects, as well as items for internal and external client prints. We have printed 10,000s+ of items, over 1,000s+ of hours, and generated $10,000s+ in the process, essentially paying for the machines, materials, and to add to the centers funds. We additionally aided the medical community during the pandemic to print 10,000+ of face shield frames and mask straps, and we did them non-stop, 24/7 printing for over 3 months. It was intense! I hands down recommend the purchase of any QIDI Tech Printer. They are so well priced, and they give you equal or better prints than a printer that cost 2-3 times as much, just for Name Brand. Every time we showcase 3-D Printing to people, or just print for clients; we ALWAYS recommend QIDI Tech to them; not sponsored, just satisfied! I hope this review helps, please reach out to me if you have any questions!

Greater than one weekWorked almost perfectly out of the box. Initially I had a problem with adhesion with different PLA brand on Amazon, but I called the customer support and they were very helpful to set up the Fast Leveling settings. Prints perfectly once you have the right temperature and leveling, has a very good resolution quality prints.

Greater than one weekIve been 3D printing for years, and decided to get a new printer that would not require a ton of hacks and upgrades just to get a simple print. I had quite a list of desired features that I wanted in a new printer, and the Qidi Tech X-Plus checked off more boxes than any other printer. In doing my research, I found many positive reviews from owners of the X-Plus and other closely related Qidi Tech 3D printers. There were also many reviews that mentioned the outstanding and quick after sales support team. I felt confident in making this purchase, and after some time, and many prints, Im glad I did. Ive printed many PLA, and TPU prints with no issues. I havent tried any high temp filaments yet, although this printer is capable of using a variety of them, and even included an entire new extruder that can be swapped in for high temp or exotic filaments. I have emailed the support team, (for a general question, not an issue) and the were quick to respond and provided the exact information I was looking for. In addition, they actually sent a follow up message to make sure the info I received was what I was looking for. Ive not experienced that with most products when it comes to support after the sale. I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for a no hassle 3D printer that wants quality results, and confidence that there is a responsive support team available should you need it.

06-04-2025The printer came with a bad screen. However, after I contacted their customer support they went above and beyond my expectations. Within 3 hours of my email to their support team, they had a new screen and motherboard air shipped to me. They provided all of the information with videos on how to change out the components and afterwards followed up a day after they arrived to make sure everything was working properly. The printer has great build quality. Their included software with the default values makes very good looking prints. I run all of my prints through Simplfy3D which, the included memory stick has the profile to import directly into the software. I was surprised that even out of the box when I was calibrating the printer that the dimensional accuracy was within 0.01mm. I bought this printer for prototyping work and it does exactly what I expected. I will definitely be buying from them again when I need to add more printers to my production line.

Greater than one weekPrinter is well built had it up and running about 15 minutes after taking it out of the box, lots of files to download from various sites on the internet. I am still learning, it will take a while especially if you want to create and build your on designs but there is a lot of potential for this to be a good hobby. Support has been great and they are extremely responsive and helpful if you get stuck or have problems. I would recommend if you are in the market for a nice 3d printer to get this one.

> 3 dayYes, there is quite a bit of time difference between southwest Texas and China, but as soon as they get into work, while we are going to bed, they will respond. It takes time to get the product from China to Texas, but not as much as you would think. I started with the X-Pro, then got another X-Pro and finally I have the X-Plus in the next few months I will be buying an X-Max. They are patient when trying to figure out what us noobs are trying to tell them is wrong. If they cant get it verbally we use videos and photos to try and work it out. If all else fails we start talking replacements. Truly they are gems to work with compared to other companies. If you are hesitating, start with one of their smaller machines but dont be surprised when you end up going to a bigger one soon after. My husband and I are Egg Art Artist as well as a few other talents, the eggs above have been enhanced with 3D products. We created the star base hanger, the flames and lighted base and also the little alien ship parts. While many use their printers for bigger stuff we tend to do miniatures for our egg art. The X-Plus was up and running within a half hour of un-boxing.

Greater than one weekI did a lot of research before buying the X-Plus and Im glad I did. I learned three things: 1) That it was easy to use, 2) That the print quality was above average, and 3) That Qidi customer service is responsive and capable. I unboxed everything and followed all the directions, but had problems with the display screen and the print bed z-axis rod. I sent an email to Qidi and had a reply with answers and video instructions on what to do in a couple of hours. I was printing my first part less than an hour after that. Plus, this thing is quiet! I can hear the fans softly and nothing else. Ive been around other 3D printers that are super noisy. Not the X-Plus. I’ve got months and hundreds of printed parts under my belt now with the X-Plus and I continue to be impressed with its simplicity, durability, ease of use and low cost.
