> 3 dayThis is not my first 3D printer but I think it could well be my last! So far this printer has done everything Ive asked of it. With a heated, oversized bed, a fully enclosed printing enclosure, standard and hi temp print heads, there is almost nothing this printer cant handle. Leveling is simple and easy to quickly perform. Internal lighting makes it easy to see your model from start to finish. You wont be dissapointed!

> 3 dayI am a beginner, and the X-Plus is my first 3D printer. Right out of the box, using default slicer settings I was printing with excellent results. As time passed I have started to experiment with advanced settings, more complex builds. Its quiet. The touchscreen is simple and intuitive. The enclosure will keep out pets and small children. The build surface is well-lit, and is easily levelled (manually) with touchscreen prompts. The included slicer software is extremely easy to use: after creating or downloading an stl file from your favorite site (Im talking about you, Thingiverse), open it in the Qidi slicer (or whichever one you prefer), use default settings or tweak them for finer detail, etc, save the file to a thumb drive, plug the drive into the USB port on the front of your printer, select the file using the touchscreen, hit print. The screen will estimate the build time and count it down. For those wishing to use Octoprint to monitor their prints, this machine can easily be made compatible with the purchase of a cable that converts the UART port underneath into a second USB port. Pins, no soldering. Easy. Tech support has been wonderful. I shorted out the main board. I was printing on a glass surface secured by metal binder clips in the back corners, when the extruder contacted a clip while drawing a skirt. I emailed Qidi. A few hours later, I received an email and a troubleshooting video, which confirmed the problem. A few days later I received a new board and they threw in a new extruder. Wow. An hour later I was back in business. I am very happy with my X-Plus, especially knowing that support is available. The user groups / printer owners are also quite generous with input and tweaks.

04-04-2025I initially left a pretty negative review, but since then Qidi has gone above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience with the Qidi X-Plus. I exchanged my first unit because it seemed to not be keeping a consistent temperature. The second unit arrived with a non-responsive touchscreen and an extruder that didnt want to extrude. Though frustrating and tedious, I was able to get the touchscreen working with help from Qidi. Qidi Support apologized for the inconvenience, and sent me a care package with not 1 but 2 new extruders, as well as a bunch of other extra accessories. The printer now works very well, and I am happy with the operation and print quality.

> 3 dayI have used this printer for everything from playing with PLA, building adapters from ABS and a little with TPU. Nothing stops it, ZERO problems. I am new at 3D printing and this printer is very user friendly. The instructional videos are great. It would be PERFECT if it had dual extruders. But, Ill just get a second QIDI that does. I didnt choose the cheapest, and I got a very good printer.

> 3 dayNever printed a part in my life. Plugged it in, loaded a model and I have been printing non-stop (almost) since I got the printer. One mechanical problem since I bought it and QIDI resolved it without question. An American distribution hub would help. Just wish I had bought a fancier model.

> 3 dayI have never used a 3d printer before. After a watching a few videos I got stuff going. I used the slicer that came loaded on the usb. Seems to work fine for a beginner. Tech support is there to help and they stick with you until problem is solved. Really excited about future prints.
