If you need more space, this product has serviced me from 2016 to current date. I have added more but this was definitely a solid stepping stone for me having more space to contain more files, photos, documents, music, videos, games and more! You can probably get alot more mileage from this if youre looking to store photos. videos and documents!

Second time buying a SanDisk SSD. First one being for myself and this second one for my younger brother. Its a very good SSD and does its job well. This replaced a 500GB Seagate Barracuda as a boot drive in my younger brothers PC and paired with Windows 8.1 Pro, the darn thing boots up well before we get the monitors to turn on from a cold start. Its very good at being an SSD. I dont want to get super technical with the specs, but based on the hardware in the SSD, it stands up well to other competitors from Crucial, Samsung, ADATA, etc. The nandflash seems to read and write well, but I havent gone into in depth testing with the SSD, however from everyday use, the drive is speedy and doesnt miss a beat. Overall, Id say that this SSD is a great buy and very competitive for the market that it is in.

Purchase this item since it has went down in price from hundred of dollars to $64.99, now $61.95, making it an excellent deal. At least it is cheaper than waiting for my hard drive to breakdown. Went to see how much a professional would charge to install it and clone my old disk drive, since I have never clone a hard drive before, and they want $150 to install and clone the old hard drive. As such I decided to do it myself. The installation was easy. I downloaded the free cloning software from that is mentioned in the FAQ section for this product here on Amazon. I connect the

My HP Dv7 series laptop needed a new drive at last, especially after upgrading to Win10, and I knew I was going to get a SSD style but was not certain of which brand. I have had very good luck with SanDisk products before so went with their 128 gb SSD drive. Since I only put the OS on the main drive and store everything on the secondary, I did not need more space. Basically, this is plug and play. I replaced the drive in very short order, inserted my OS disc and the speed at which everything loaded was impressive. I had no issues at all with either installation or performance and I am very pleased. As a bonus, my computer and the power adapter run much cooler as well. I would definitely recommend this brand for anyone needing a SSD.

I bought this to upgrade a 64GB SanDisk SSD that I had in my gaming PC. I gave the PC to a friend, and I wanted to upgrade the SSD before doing so, that way hed have a fresh, new SSD to use, and because 64GB was getting a bit messy to deal with storage-wise (I store most things on a hard drive though). I had no issues with the old SanDisk SSD, so I didnt hesitate to go with another SanDisk SSD to replace it. This was cheap, and seemed like a simple, low cost solution. It arrived, and I right away swapped the SSDs, and re-installed Windows and it is working fine in the few weeks that my friend has been using it. He says its fast, and things load quickly on it, so I am happy. Keep up the great work SanDisk!

To start off, I am not techy and just got advice from co-workers and friends on how to revive my 5 year old laptop. The start-ups lagged and programs were slow to boot up. Instead of buying a new laptop, some people suggested to try swap to a SSD. I was apprehensive at first, but with a little on-line research and youtube, I was able to figure out how to do the swap. ITS PLUG AND PLAY!!!! The SanDisk SSD drive slid right into the slot where my old hard drive was and thats it. After reinstalling my OS and programs, my Laptop has a new life!!!! Why spend $$$$$ on a new laptop when I got this for a fraction of the cost and works like a champ! From boot-up to program launches, it is like night and day. Super fast and smooth start-up. I recommend this to anyone with a slightly older laptop and having the same lag issues. Like I said, I am not a computer person, but was able to revive my laptop and super happy with the new performance. Slim design seems to fit most laptop hard drive spaces, although check with your specific model.

This drive is ultra skinny, but included a spacer that has adhesive strips to put on the drive. I did for my Dell laptop and it fit well, without it the tie down brackets wouldnt sit right. I cloned the existing drive with Macrium Reflect free, http://www.macrium.com/pages/windows10.aspx , and an external drive cable https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011M8YACM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1, once that was done in about 20 minutes I just swapped the drives , rebooted and like lightning the SSD took off made the laptop faster then its ever been for a very good price. Hope it lasts.

Its not the fastest SSD out there, nor the biggest, but for most people its perfect. Its a reliable drive and a great value, and these days SSDs are all so good that even a budget option like this is at least as good as the high-end models from a few years ago. I have an old Samsung 840 500 GB drive in my MacBook that I paid $300 for back in the day. Now that I have this SSD in my gaming PC, it no longer feels slower to boot or open apps than my five-year-old laptop. I put another one of these in my grandmas laptop, and even though shes not very computer savvy, she could feel a night and day improvement in speed. SSDs are so much better than mechanical hard drives. If youve been holding off because youre saving up to buy a really high end one, just stop suffering and get this one now. Its cheap, its really fast (because all reputable SSDs these days are), and for most peoples needs, you probably wouldnt notice the difference between this one and the latest high-end Samsung.

SUPER FAST!!!! My laptop is like the Millennium Falcon jumping into hyperspace after smelling some cocaine, dropping a hit of LSD, popping some speed, drinking a 5 Hour Energy, smelling a little more cocaine and chasing it all with a Red Bull followed by a Monster and Mt. Dew.... Then it happens... Blue screen of death. I dont think its the hardware, I think its where the cloning software didnt do right & I had to make a fresh Win7x64Pro install. The code says conflicting drivers & fixing that is WAY beyond my abilities. When that gets repaired, this SSD will be doing the job PERFECTLY. I am running it at 75-85% capacity and theres no issues with speed or temperature. Battery life extended by about 30% longer due to the SSDs lower consumption. Performance index is now based on my lowest score which is the laptop graphics. No biggie, its a laptop that I use for home recording. Once it stops crashing, Ill see how all of that runs.

Step up to SSD speeds and inject new life into your laptop or desktop PC with a durable solid state drive from SanDisk. You"ll experience quicker boot up and shut down, quicker application response and data transfer speeds than with a typical hard disk drive1, at just a fraction of the cost of a new computer. You"ll boost your cool factor, too, with a solid state drive that doesn"t overheat, make noise or burn through battery. SanDisk SSDs are tested and proven to be resistant to shock, vibration and temperature extremes2, so your SSD keeps working, no matter where or how hard you use your computer.
