Very good SSD for the price. Samsung magician software that comes with it helps to easily change windows settings to get the most performance/life/reliability out of the drive. Selecting the performance optimization, I was able to get 547 MB/s reads and 492 MB/s writes

Best upgrade I have ever made. Installed in Macbook Pro (Early 2011) which got sluggish after Yosemite. This brought it back to blisteringly fast responses of the Mac. I boot up to login in less than 20 seconds. Recommend VERY highly.

product arrived exactly when expected, and, although ever so slightly surpassed performance-wise by the 850 Pro, performance was outstanding, giving me 501 mb/sec as measured thru Samsungs performance benchmark. (Did not get a chance to test Samsungs migration utility, opted for Clonezilla, but, cloned flawlessly....)

I have 2 of these in my PC. They work great. No problems. Im not sure why this review lets me rate battery life....

The Samsung software makes the installation as you main drive by cloning simple. Unlike the Acronis that Crucial gave me with their drive. I never got the Acronis software to work. I used the Samsung software on this new Drive, and one I bought a while back that had not software included with it.

Again nothing beat this Samsung SSD!!! it is very fast and just perfect for my Mac, I cant believe how quick it is now! it is like I bought a new Mac! you will not regret it

Installed this SSD on my pc and worked flawlessly. Running Windows 10 on SSD and using my older HDD for storage. Runs super quick just as expected. Purchased a second one for my husbands pc and it was DOA. Had them replace and had memory errors on the 2nd one. Returned and purchased from local retail store because I was tired of waiting on shipment back and forth from Amazon. Third one worked like a charm. Seems hit or miss but happy I finally have a working one on his machine.

The drive does work well, but there are setup configuration and data management software that needed to be down load to help to drive work more efficiently. definitely faster that mechanical drives , and worth buying to save power and speed up your computer about 3X.

SSDs are amazing. They are the single most potent upgrade in your system. The computer starts faster, files open faster, games load quicker, and the whole PC feels so much more responsive and snappy. Sure with a bad processor, mobo, and GPU a SSD may not matter too much, but if your system is decent and you have a HDD, swapping to a SSD is a massive difference. Also the Samsung EVO line is a great line of SSDs. SSDs are a new tech and each company has a few models that aren the best or more reliable, so if you dont buy this one, make sure to do some research and look around at the model that you do buy. Dont get a lemon!

Much faster, quieter and cooler than my HDD, easy to install with the help of Samsungs instructions and disc. Would recommend to family and friends.
